Concert promoter Márton Brády, founder and leader of ShowTime Budapest passed away in March 2021. The team at ShowTime Budapest, working together for 25 years, decided to keep on doing the work and had created a company called Encore Production Ltd.
The major activities of the company is to organise international and national concerts, festivals, conferences, exhibitions. entertainment shows.
The company founders Gabi Tóth, Péter Baksai, had organised during their ShowTime Budapest period hundreds of international acts and concerts Hungarian performers since the beginning of 2000’s e.x, Eric Clapton, Mike Oldfield, Eros Ramazzotti, Leonard Cohen, Pink, Cher, REM, Elton John, Simply Red, Deep Purple, Lionel Richie, Jamiroquai, Rod Stewart, Santana or David Copperfield, among others. The company has organised major concerts by such legendary Hungarian bands as the LGT Arena performances in 2013, and previously the performances of Ruzsa Magdi, Zorán, Charlie and Tátrai Band.
Since the foundation of Encore production we have already promoted Dead Can Dance at Budapest Aréna in May 2022, on-sale with Abba the show, Magdi Rúzsa (most famous Hungarian female pop singer), Csík Band, Gábor Presser (most famous composer, songwriter, pianist, founder of LGT).
Encore Production’s international booker, Andras Halmos has started booking concerts in 2004 and since then he is constantly booking international acts for Budapest’s major venues: Trafo House of Contemporary Arts (music director, 2004-14), Müpa Budapest (advisor, booker, 2008 – ), House of Music Hungary (head of booking, 2020 – ), Bartók Festival (fka Budapest Spring Festival, advisor, booker, 2008 – ), Liszt Festival (fka Budapest Autumn Festival, advisor, booker, 2008 – ).
